Clear Administrative Services Credential Program

The Sutter County Clear Administrative Services Credential Program (CASC) aspires to create a collaborative learning community that is committed to the ongoing growth and retention of new and veteran administrators while promoting habits of equity and effective instructional leadership. CASC is a two year program providing support to new administrators who have obtained a preliminary credential. One-on-one support is provided by a trained, veteran administrator, or coach, with knowledge and experience implementing the California Professional Standards for Educational Leadership (CPSEL). Support includes just-in-time needs as well as guided reflection on daily practices. The reflective journey is documented in an Individual Induction Plan (IIP). Within the two year cycle, candidates complete six inquiries, one per standard, ensuring the goal is job-embedded and aligning with the current work of the administrator. Candidates attend six seminars in two years allowing for networking with area leaders while exploring leadership standards and current trends in education.

Enrollment in a clear administrative induction program is expected upon placement in an administrative position but must occur no later than one year from activation of the preliminary credential (Program Standard 1)
