Sutter County Superintendent of Schools

Our Consortium:

In 2022, the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools collaborated to form a county wide consortium utilizing Expanded Learning Opportunities Program funding for interested and eligible Sutter County School Districts to support the growing demand for After School and Intersession Programs for our area students.  The SCSOS Consortium developed an effective collaborative approach that encourages partners to share resources and best practices.  The consortium also works to eliminate duplication of efforts, and works collectively to maximize resources for our local ELO Programs.  

Mission Statement:

Our goal is to provide programs and services that support the education, health, safety and well-being of children and families in Sutter County. By expanding and improving quality after school, summer, and other out of school time learning opportunities, we can engage young people in ways that excite them, stimulate their curiosity, and connect them to new experiences they may not otherwise have access to.
