Tri-County ROP serves as a regional Career Technical Education (CTE) start-up engine, partnering with local education agencies to design, launch, and operationalize high-quality, industry-aligned programs that respond to workforce demand.
Through a time-bound investment model, Tri-County ROP strategically deploys limited state and federal CTE funding to build sustainable programs, develop instructional capacity, and establish industry partnerships—ultimately transitioning fully operational programs to LEAs for long-term ownership.
Tri-County ROP will redefine regional CTE delivery by functioning as a scalable innovation and incubation hub, where:
- New and emerging career pathways are rapidly developed and piloted
- LEAs are supported in building self-sustaining, high-quality programs
- Limited public funding is continuously reinvested to expand access across the region
Through this model, every participating district gains access to cutting-edge CTE programs, while the region benefits from a continuous cycle of program development, transfer, and expansion.
