Tri-County ROP Programs

Tri-County Regional Occupational Program (TCROP), a program of the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools (SCSOS), provides high-quality Career Technical Education (CTE) opportunities that connect classroom learning with real-world careers.
 
Serving students across Sutter, Yuba, and Colusa counties, TCROP works in partnership with school districts, colleges, employers, and community organizations to create meaningful learning experiences that prepare students for college, career, and lifelong success.
 
Through hands-on instruction and career-connected learning, students can:
  • Explore careers and discover their interests and strengths.
  • Develop technical, academic, and professional skills.
  • Learn from CTE educators with industry knowledge and experience.
  • Participate in work-based and career-connected learning opportunities.
  • Build skills using industry-relevant equipment, technology, and practices.
  • Prepare for postsecondary education, training, apprenticeships, and employment.
  • Pursue industry-recognized certifications and college credit when available.

Education

Para-Educator Pipeline

Explore careers in education while developing foundational skills in student support, communication, collaboration, professionalism, and inclusive learning environments. Gain career-connected experience that can help prepare you for future opportunities as a para-educator and continued education toward teaching and other careers in education. This pilot program is in collaboration with SCSOS Special Education Department, Sutter County SELPA, and Sutter Union High School. 
 

Advanced Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management

Develop culinary, hospitality, customer service, leadership, and workplace skills through hands-on learning and industry-connected experiences.

Supply Chain & Transportation

Automotive Technology

Explore automotive systems, diagnostics, maintenance, repair, safety, and the technologies shaping today's transportation industry. *This is an articulated course in collaboration with Yuba College.

Healthcare & Human Services

Cosmetology

Develop technical and professional skills in cosmetology and personal care services while preparing for opportunities in the beauty and wellness industry. * This is an articulated course in collaboration with Sutter County Career Training Center.
 

Medical Occupations

Explore healthcare careers while developing foundational knowledge, technical skills, professionalism, and an understanding of patient care environments. * This is an articulated course in collaboration with Sutter County Career Training Center and has a dual enrollment component in collaboration with Yuba College.

Pipeline to Public Safety

Explore careers in public safety and service while developing communication, teamwork, leadership, professionalism, and career-specific skills. *This is a dual enrollment course in collaboration with Yuba College.
