MOBILE FOOD TRAILER
The Sutter County Superintendent of Schools Office, through its Tri-County ROP-CTE program, operates a culinary food trailer designed to provide students with hands-on career exploration and work-based learning opportunities. The trailer strengthens the Culinary Arts pathway at Feather River Academy while also supporting community events and partnerships throughout the region.
Students gain real-world experience by working alongside culinary instructors, local chefs, and industry professionals to operate the food trailer and prepare and serve food to the community. Through these experiences, students develop essential skills in food preparation, customer service, teamwork, food safety, and business operations while gaining a better understanding of careers in the hospitality industry. Students also build valuable entrepreneurial skills by participating in the day-to-day operation of the food trailer, including planning, production, sales, and customer service.

The Tri-County ROP Education Pipeline: Special Education Paraprofessionals program prepares high school students for meaningful careers supporting students with diverse needs while also strengthening our region’s education workforce. Through engaging coursework, classroom observations, real-world field experiences, online learning, and certification preparation, students build the knowledge, confidence, and professional skills needed to succeed as paraprofessionals.
The program also creates a pathway to industry-recognized credentials, including preparation for the Title 1 Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Certification, while helping students explore education as a long-term career. By connecting learning with hands-on experience and strong community partnerships, the Education Pipeline helps develop compassionate, skilled future educators who are ready to make a difference in classrooms, schools, and communities.
