Sarah's accomplishments at Chico State include: President of the Theatre Arts Club for two years, began an Improv Club on campus, wrote and performed in several 24 Hour Plays, Stage Manager for fall 2019 musical, earned the 2019 Outstanding Theatre Arts Award and had one of her original plays copyrighted and performed on campus.
Sarah's plans include graduate school with a focus in playwriting. πŸ’•

Arianna started Yuba College at 14 years old while attending regular high school classes and cheering.
She graduated from Lindhurst High School at the age of 16 with a 4.0 GPA
Now at age 18, she has graduated from Yuba College with 4 degrees:

Law Enforcement
Political Science
Social and Behavioral Science
She was accepted to 4 universities and has accepted Sacramento State's offer to continue her journey in Law. Her Goal is to be a California state lawyer and eventually a judge.

She will begin her student teaching at Elk Grove High School in the fall while enrolled in the Chico State credential program. Her parents are beyond proud of their cowgirl's dedication and achievements and know she will be a great teacher. β£οΈ

Awynn has attended Butte Vista School since Kindergarten. She loves volleyball and plays with Yuba Elite Volleyball Club (as well as Butte Vista). She plans to play at RVHS and continue with Yuba Elite through high school with hopes of earning a volleyball scholarship for college. She is undecided about college and her career path, but has mentioned Paramedic or Pediatric Surgeon. πŸ₯°

My best friend, Meagan Thomas SCSOS Para Educator, is a Yuba College 2020 Graduate. She has earned her AS in Social Behavioral.
She has been supported and encouraged by her husband Larry Thomas and her 3 kids Jayden, Amiya, and Alexandra.
I am so proud of her dedication to her desire to become a Special Education teacher. She has maintained Honor status during her schooling while working full-time, caring for her family and adding a sweet baby girl to her family just two years ago. Keep going Meagan, you are going to be an excellent teacher and gift to our community.

Sami is graduating from American River College as a Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant. This is her second degree; she received her first degree in Early Childhood Education when she was 18 and has been working in that field since then. She was introduced to the SLPA field and became interested in furthering her education in that direction. She completed the program while working full time; hopefully she will start her new career soon. Her mom feels terrible for her that she won't have a chance to walk, but she is so proud of her!
